10 children are in the neonatal and intensive care units in the "Arevik" medical unit of Artsakh, besieged by Baku
YEREVAN, DECEMBER 26, ARMENPRESS. Due to the blocking by Azerbaijan of the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia, scheduled surgeries continue to be suspended in the medical facilities operating under the Artsakh Ministry of Health, ARMENPRESS reports, Ministry of Health of Artsakh said. 10 children are in the neonatal and intensive care units in the "Arevik" medical unit. A 4-month-old baby with a diagnosis of "genital leishmaniasis" had positive dynamics and continues to receive treatment at a specialized medical center in Armenia. At the "Republican Medical Center", 10 patients are in the intensive care unit, 4 of them are in critical condition. The doctors are doing their best to stabilize the condition of the patients. Artsakh Ministry of Health is taking all possible measures to properly overcome the situation created due to the blockade.
