International pressure on Azerbaijan is growing, NK conflict is being internationalized – Vice Speaker on UNSC meeting

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 21, ARMENPRESS. Vice Speaker of Parliament of Armenia Ruben Rubinyan says it is necessary to do everything in order to maximally increase international pressure on Azerbaijan.

Rubinyan told reporters that the calls made by the international community in the context of the September aggression committed by Azerbaijan against Armenia and the Azeri blockade of Lachin Corridor are more targeted, unequivocal and strong.

“We must try to maximally increase international pressure on Azerbaijan. I think yesterday’s session made it obvious that the pressure has indeed increased and is further growing because the Nagorno Karabakh conflict is again being internationalized, and this is a result of Azerbaijan’s unlawful actions. You saw that representatives of all countries were using the name Nagorno Karabakh despite claims from Azerbaijan. Everyone was recording the importance of the November 9 statement. Everyone was recording the Lachin Corridor and its status. We must continue increasing pressure,” Rubinyan said.
