Congresswoman Judy Chu joins other U.S. lawmakers in urging Biden to take action to ensure safety of Artsakh people

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 20, ARMENPRESS. United States Congresswoman Judy Chu said that she stands with the thousands who are suffering under Azerbaijan's illegal blockade of the Lachin Corridor.

“I stand with the thousands who are suffering under Azerbaijan's illegal blockade of the Lachin Corridor, the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia. I proudly joined Adam Schiff & our colleagues in a letter to POTUS urging him to take action to protect the people of Artsakh,” Chu tweeted.

As reported earlier, a U.S. Congressional letter to President Joe Biden, spearheaded by Congressman Adam Schiff (D-CA), called for decisive U.S. action in response to Azerbaijan’s blockade of Artsakh, a bipartisan reaffirmation of demands to stop U.S. military aid to Azerbaijan and restart humanitarian assistance to the Armenians of Artsakh.
