China’s Premier congratulates Pashinyan on reappointment

China’s Premier Li Qiang has congratulated Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on his reappointment, the Prime Minister’s Office reported.

“Your Excellency, I have learned with great pleasure of your reappointment as Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia. On this occasion, I wish to extend my sincere congratulations,” the Chinese Premier said in a letter addressed to Pashinyan.

“China and Armenia enjoy long-standing traditional friendship. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations 34 years ago, bilateral relations have maintained sound and steady growth, and practical cooperation has yielded fruitful results. China stands ready to work together with Armenia, guided by the principles of mutual respect, mutual trust and mutual benefit, to further deepen cooperation across the board and continuously enrich the substance of the strategic partnership between the two countries. Wishing you good health and every success in your endeavors,” he added.
