Yerevan’s share in the GDP is more than that of all the regions of the country together

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 21, ARMENPRESS. The leader in terms of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the country in 2020 is the capital Yerevan. The share of the latter in the GDP is more (59.9%) than all the regions of the country combined, ARMENPRESS was informed from the Statistical Committee of Armenia.

Yerevan is followed by nearby Provinces: Ararat (6.8%), Kotayk (6.6%), Armavir (5.6%). Syunik's index is 5.7%, Shirak and Lori 3.4% each, Gegharkunik - 3.2%, Aragatsotn - 2.4%, Tavush - 1.9%, Vayots Dzor - 1.1%.
