PM Pashinyan, EU’s Michel stress need of implementation of Prague statement agreements

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 19, ARMENPRESS. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and President of the European Council Charles Michel held a meeting within the framework of the 18th summit of the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF) in Djerba, Tunisia.

Pashinyan and Michel discussed the results of their quadrilateral meeting with the French and Azeri presidents in Prague earlier in October. The importance of implementing the agreements recorded in the Prague statement and implementing steps aimed at strengthening peace and stability in the region was emphasized.

Prime Minister Pashinyan stressed the need of elimination of the consequences of the Azerbaijani aggression and the immediate withdrawal of Azerbaijani military units from sovereign territory of Armenia.

Pashinyan and Michel also exchanged ideas on further development of the Armenia-EU cooperation.
