President of European Council Charles Michel, Aliyev discuss Armenia-Azerbaijan normalization process

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 11, ARMENPRESS. President of the European Council Charles Michel has met with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and reiterated EU support to efforts for a peaceful Caucasus.

In a post on X, Michel said he congratulated Aliyev on hosting COP-29.

“We also touched upon all aspects of bilateral relations. And following my exchange with [Armenian] PM Nikol Pashinyan in Budapest last week, we discussed the state of play of Armenia-Azerbaijan normalisation process. The EU remains ready to support all efforts for a stable, peaceful and prosperous Caucasus,” Michel added.
