YEREVAN, OCTOBER 17, ARMENPRESS. FLYONE ARMENIA, the first Armenian national low-cost airline, has transported the most passengers via the Zvartnots International Airport in 2022.
In the past 10 months, the airline has served more than 300,000 passengers, who traveled to Armenia and other countries with the aircrafts of FLYONE AREMNIA.
In a statement the company said that from 2003 till today no Armenian airline has managed to regain the leading position in the field of air transportation in Armenia.
“FLYONE ARMENIA has repeatedly announced its goal to become a leading company in the Armenian aviation market. Today, ahead of the 1st anniversary of the launch of the company’s operation, we got informed that the first national low-cost airline has successfully achieved one of its goals. I want to thank all passengers of FLYONE ARMENIA for the trust, as well as the company’s staff and all our partners”, FLYONE ARMENIA Board Chairman Aram Ananyan said.
He added that the company is going to further expand the geography of its flights. “You know that regular direct flights to Yekaterinburg are launching on December 19. Mineralnye Vody and Milan will join our aviation network in the foreseeable future. The airline will do everything to keep its leading position and increase the volume of transportation”, Aram Ananyan said.
