The presidents of Armenia and Artsakh discuss wide range of security issues

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 14, ARMENPRESS. The President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan received the delegation led by the President of Artsakh Arayik Harutyunyan. As ARMENPRESS was informed from the President's office, the existing challenges and opportunities for the settlement of the Karabakh conflict were discussed during the meeting.

"One fact should be recorded that all representatives of the Armenian government cannot make any decision behind your back or keep it secret from you. I am aware of any discussion, even if I am not present, I familiarize myself with all the documents. The issue of Artsakh is always raised and is on the agenda, this issue cannot but be on our agenda. We just need to discuss the solution option together and make our citizens aware of how we envision the future," the President of Armenia said.

Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan thanked the President for the reception, emphasized that he is always aware of the discussions and possible options regarding the settlement of the issue.

During the meeting, Arayik Harutyunyan presented the general situation in Artsakh to President Khachaturyan. A wide range of security and other issues were discussed.
