Armenia bans use of wild animals in circuses

YEREVAN, MARCH 23, ARMENPRESS. The government-authored bill on banning the use of wild animals in circuses was adopted by parliament at second reading.

60 lawmakers voted in favor while 27 voted present.

The bill, among other changes, bans the use of wild animals in circuses. The list of wild animals which are protected by the law will be defined by an authorized body.
