Azerbaijani special services spread list of Armenian soldiers fallen at 2016 April War

YEREVAN, JULY 14, ARMENPRESS. Azerbaijan’s special services continue filling the media field with fake news, Armenia’s Information Checking Center says.

Currently the Azerbaijani side is spreading fake reports according to which yesterday, on July 13, the Armenian side had 66 losses. A list containing names/surnames and dates of birth is attached to this information.

The Information Checking Center informs that this information is fake, and the list includes the names of Armenian soldiers who have been killed during the 2016 April War.

The Center urges the citizens of Armenia not to spread such reports and follow only the official news.

The Azerbaijani armed forces launched an attack on an Armenian military base located in Tavush province on July 12, using artillery, mortars and UAVs. In addition, the Azerbaijani side also shelled the town of Chinari in the province with mortars, damaging civilian homes. On July 14 the Azerbaijani armed forces continued targeting the civilian infrastructures of the Armenian town of Berd, using an attacking drone.
