President of Artsakh signs decree on declaring state of emergency to prevent spread of COVID-19

STEPANAKERT, APRIL 12, ARMENPRESS. On 12 April Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan convoked an enlarged meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission Coordinating the Prevention of the Spread of the Novel Coronavirus with the participation of representatives of the state legislative, executive and judicial branches, the Presidential Office told Armenpress.

President Sahakyan delivered an address to the citizens of the republic and informed that he had signed a decree on declaring an emergency situation in the Artsakh Republic aimed at preventing the spread of the new coronavirus disease in the Artsakh Republic and protecting the population from the threat of the coronavirus epidemic.
