YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 29, ARMENPRESS. Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia Armen Ashotyan received on September 29 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Armenia Igor Nazaruk. As “Armenpress” was informed by the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Armenia, the parties discussed issues related to cooperation in the sphere of education between Armenia and Belarus.  

Belarus has submitted application to join the Bologna process this year in May during the Ministerial Summit of the European Higher Education Area and Fourth Bologna Policy Forum held in Yerevan.

Armenia as a country, who had assumed Bologna Secretariat, has always assisted its partner Belarus. Education Minister of Armenia Armen Ashotyan emphasized that Armenia was ready to pass its experience in Bologna Secretariat and integration experience in the European Higher Education Area to Belarus as well as to other members of the Eurasian Economic Union.
