Fallen Aleppine-Armenian soldier posthumously commissioned

YEREVAN, AUGUST 12, ARMENPRESS. Aleppine-Armenian, Habet Manouk Aprikyan who died in Zabadani District a few days ago, has been posthumously granted honorary commission to officer by the Syrian Ministry of Defense. Armenpress was informed about this from "Perio News" Facebook page. The dead soldier’s funeral will be held in Holy Trinity Armenian Catholic church (Zvartnots), Aleppo.

Earlier it was reported that soldiers of the Syrian army were killed in the bloody battles against the terrorist groups in one of the suburbs of Damascus. Aleppine-Armenian Habet Manouk Aprikyan, born in 1993, was among the fallen soldiers.

According to UN data more than 220 thousand people have died during the clashes going on for more than four years in Syria. The number of dead Armenians exceeds 100.
