Some parts of new road linking Armenia and Artsakh are already asphalted

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 29, ARMENPRESS: Construction of Vardenis-Martakert highway of military significance will finish by the end of 2015, if they have the required amount of money, Public Relations Department of “Hayastan” All-Armenian-Fund told Armenpress.

“Hayastan” All-Armenian-Fund once again reconfirmed the significance of the highway both for Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh. “This road, as repeatedly stated, is an alternative and strategically significant road in the geopolitical conditions of Armenia and Nagorno Karbakah. It will not only promote economic development of the small and large communities situated along the road, but will also promote the economic growth of our two republics,”

The money gathered from Telemarathon 2014 too will be allocated for reconstruction of Vardenis-Martakert highway. The representatives of the fund are optimistic in this regard.
