Foreign businessmen think of locating energy production in Armenia: President

YEREVAN, MARCH 28, ARMENPRESS: The gas tariff supplied to Armenia is the lowest that Russia provides to any country. The President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan stated about it during the consultation held in the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of Armenia. The President noted that the agreement provides for the price not to be changed for the coming five years and it is connected with the internal prices of the Russian Federation, which will not be increased considerably or will grow by up to 5% annually.
“That, certainly, is not welcome, though it is not as it was in the past. Moreover, not only our citizens know about it, but also the foreign businessmen, who, seeing the predictability and the price, intend to locate their energy production in Armenia”, - said Serzh Sargsyan.
