Armenia’s President receives U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 10, ARMENPRESS. Today, the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan received U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs Eric Rubin.

“Armenpress” was informed from the Department for Mass Media and Public Relations of the President’s office of the Republic of Armenia that Serzh Sargsyan welcomed the guest and stressed the importance of his visit from the viewpoint of the continuance of the comprehensive and multifaceted dialogue of the Armenian-American relations.

The sides highly appreciated the current level of the relations between the Republic of Armenia and the United States of America. The interlocutors expressed their readiness to develop those relations and expand cooperation between the two countries where, according to the sides, there is significant potential.

At the course of the meeting the participants reacted upon the latest developments in the process of the peaceful settlement of Karabakh issue. President Serzh Sargsyan and U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs exchanged thoughts around a series of regional and international issues.
