YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 9, ARMENPRESS: Kurdish protestors, children and women among them, rallied from Shahumyan monument to the UN office at the Republic Square. The protestors were demanding to release Kurdish political prisoners in Turkey.
Kurdish National Congress deputy Zhenya Amirian noted that they gathered there to get some help from UN, Human Rights advocate, Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly and other institutions and people who might support their requirement. Kurdish political prisoners in Turkey are in an extremely bad situation, and what is about Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, he is trying to destroy Kurdish people.
Amirian has declared from the behalf of Kurdish women that Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Abdullah Öcalan must change with their places, that someone must stop the “dog breeding” because in a result of it the number of safarovs is increasing.
Armen Bayburdian the senior adviser of UN Resident Coordinator said this case should be discussed with the participation of all UN member countries.
