1 soldier killed, 1 wounded in unknown circumstances in Artsakh
14:25, 2 December 2019YEREVAN, DECEMBER 2, ARMENPRESS. One soldier has died and another one was wounded after sustaining gunshot wounds in “circumstances that are still unknown”, the Defense Ministry of Artsakh said in a news release.
21 year old soldier Arthur Ajamyan suffered the fatal wound while 20 year old soldier Davit Melikbekyan was wounded in the December 2 incident that took place around 06:50 in a military position of the Defense Army.
The Artsakh military said they are investigating to determine the circumstances surrounding the fatal incident.
The Ministry of Defense of Artsakh extended condolences to the families of the killed troops.
