We never restrict freedom of movement, Armenia tells Ukraine after Kiev's statement on Crimea
visits

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 13, ARMENPRESS. Armenia has responded to the Ukrainian embassy’s November 12 statement when the diplomatic mission called on Armenian nationals “to adhere to the rules of visiting the territory of the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea”.

Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Anna Naghdalyan said that Yerevan is committed to its international obligations and doesn’t ever restrict its citizens’ fundamental human right to freedom of movement.

“When required, the Armenian MFA issues travel advisories based on security issues,” Naghdalyan added.

In the November 12 statement the Ukrainian Embassy in Armenia had also said that not adhering to the rules of visits can lead to not only administrative but also criminal liability.
