YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 5, ARMENPRESS. President of Greece Procopios Pavlopolos proposed Armenian counterpart Armen Sarkissian that his country become Armenia’s number one partner in the European Union, Armenian President Armen Sarkissian said during a joint press conference with President Pavlopolos in Yerevan.

“My friend proposed that Greece become Armenia’s number one partner in the European Union, stating that of course Armenia has also many other friends, such as France, Germany and etc.”, Sarkissian said.

President of Greece Procopios Pavlopolos together with spouse Vlassia Pavlopoulou arrived in Armenia on an official visit on November 5 at the invitation of President Sarkissian.
