Belgium’s prosecution studies corruption allegations against foreign minister

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 14, ARMENPRESS. Belgium’s foreign minister Didier Reyndersis under scrutiny by the prosecution regarding corruption accusations, L’Echo reported.

According to the repot a “former employee of the federal security” contacted law enforcement agencies and alleged that the Belgian FM is laundering money by violating the state procurement law during the construction of the embassy building in Congo.

Authorities are expected to make a decision whether or not a criminal investigation will be launched against the FM.
