YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 5, ARMENPRESS. Armenian Minister of Economy Tigran Khachatryan met with the representatives of THALES Group in Yerevan, the ministry told Armenpress.

At the meeting minister Khachatryan welcomed the company representatives in Armenia. “We hope that during your visit you will discover Armenia. Our team of supporting investors is ready to react to all issues you will have”, he said.

One of the company representatives stated that the delegation is examining the existing opportunities in Armenia with a view to launch an activity and implement programs here. Meetings are expected with the state officials, as well as the Armenian companies engaged in innovative and high technologies.

During the meeting the two sides highlighted boosting the economy that is based on high technologies. An agreement was reached to continue the discussions on the cooperation framework.
