YEREVAN, AUGUST 26, ARMENPRESS. Israeli Armed Forces launched airstrikes at the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine’s headquarters in Lebanon’s Bekaa region, local media reported.

The Israeli UAV strikes were carried out outside Zahle, a city in Bekaa which is close to the Syrian border.

“Three Israeli airstrikes targeted the Lebanese-Syria border east of Zahle... explosions were heard in several parts of the Bekaa valley,” An-Nahar news channel said.

This incident follows an alleged cross-border intrusion of Israeli drones into Beirut the night before.
