YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 20, ARMENPRESS. Armenia actively supports the opportunity of establishing free trade zone between the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and Iran, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian said in an interview with RIA Novosti, reports “Armenpress”.

“Currently the opportunity on establishing free trade zone between Iran and the Eurasian Economic Union is being discussed which we, of course, are actively supporting”, Nalbandian said.

He also highlighted the wide prospects on attracting the Iranian market in the Armenian market. The Armenian FM said Tehran and Yerevan continue the works on improving the business environment, as well as creating mutual investment opportunities. “On this way an important stage was the elimination of visa regime between our countries which will further contribute to deepening the bilateral trade-economic ties”, Minister Nalbandian said.
