YEREVAN, OCTOBER 31, ARMENPRESS. The leaderships and societies of Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh have the same opinion over the keys on solving the Karabakh issue. Karabakh must be provided with a secure future and cannot be a part of Azerbaijan in any status, Deputy Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Eduard Sharmazanov said who has just returned from the NKR.

“This is the opinion of the soldier, the President, as well as the representatives of all factions of the NKR Parliament. However, after the April war there is a need to carry out certain renovation works and improvements in the NKR”, Sharmazanov said, reports “Armenpress”.

He put an emphasis on military issues. Sharmazanov said that he visited the frontline and can assure that after every visit he states that today our frontline is provided with all technical, military-technical equipment which are necessary to maintain peace in the frontline. The combat readiness and the spirit of our soldiers is at the highest level. He said the same can be said for the respectful officers.

Sharmazanov added that the resettlement of the Talish village is an important issue for the NKR leadership and the Armenians in general. “We have discussed this issue with the Talish residents, President Bako Sahakyan, respectful Vitali Balasanyan. We hold quite long discussions and came to a conclusion that it is necessary to take steps towards the restoration and resettlement of Talish. We need to open a fund in order to restore the school and kindergarten of Talish in a short period of time and take serious steps for our sisters and brothers of Talish to return to their village. Otherwise, the bordering regions of Karabakh and Armenia are under Azerbaijan’s fire. If we think at least theoretically that they can fire, we can not to resettle 1/3 of our territory. This cannot be happen. Our major goal is security provision in order our sisters and brothers to return to and live in their village”, Sharmazanov said.

The Deputy Speaker said the Armenian people must be ready to war at any moment if they want to live in independent and secure Fatherland. Eduard Sharmazanov added that this doesn’t mean that tomorrow there will be a war, but this is Azerbaijan’s desire, in other words it wants through sabotage actions, various measures to lead to gradual reduction of the population of the bordering regions of Karabakh and Armenia.

“Their goal will not be fulfilled, we are going to become more. After the April war it was such an impression on me that people in Yerevan are somewhat calm. But the positive stimulation that happened in April, we need the second wave of it in order Armenia, Artsakh, the Diaspora to be united. This is not an issue of Artsakh, this is an issue of all Armenians. The Karabakh issue is another manifestation of the Armenian question. Because Azerbaijan aims not to permit the Armenians of Karabakh to exercise their right to self-determination. It will not happen. The Armenians of Karabakh have lived, are living and will live there. We must understand that every Armenian’s view must be directed towards the NKR”, Sharmazanov said adding that we must be united and take practical steps aimed at strengthening Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh.
