YEREVAN, OCTOBER 14, ARMENPRESS. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov highly appreciates Armenian chairmanship of the CSTO. “Armenpress” reports, answering the question of a reporter at the Presidential Palace about his assessment of Armenia’s chairmanship of the CSTO, Lavrov said,

“With the best formulations. Armenia ensures excellent chairmanship of the CSTO. The summit here that will end in the coming hours is very saturated with concrete decisions”.

The Russian Foreign Minister particularly pointed out the adoption of CSTO strategy for the period until 2025 that will be approved today by the heads of the CSTO member states. “It includes the main directions of our partnership in the context of ensuring collective security”, Russian Foreign Minister concluded.
