PM Abrahamyan visits Artik city districts damaged by floods

YEREVAN, JUNE 25, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan had a working visit to Artik city on June 25, to review the damages and consequences of the June 24 floods.

The PM was accompanied by Minister of Emergency Situations Armen Yeritsyan, Minister of Territorial Administration and Development Davit Lokyan and Minister of Urban Development Narek Sargsyan.

Abrahamyan visited the neighborhoods of Artik which were damaged, the kindergarten and the school.

Mayor of Artik A. Abrahamyan briefed the Prime Minister on the details and informed that a working group has been formed for evaluation of damages.

Hovik Abrahamyan talked with residents of Artik and assured that the Government will provide assistance.

During a briefing the PM said the situation is alarming, however after assessing the damages, citizens will be provided with compensation.
