Armenian parliament Vice Speaker says announcement of Czech President was a clear signal for Erdoğan and his political team

YEREVAN, JUNE 9, ARMENPRESS. The announcement of the Czech President, according to which all those who deny the Armenian Genocide are coward, was a clear signal to all those who criticize the Bundestag vote recognizing and condemning the Armenian Genocide, RPA spokesperson and Vice President of Republic of Armenia National AssemblyEduard Sharmazanov told the journalists after theRPA Executive Body meeting.

“President of the Czech Republic Miloš Zeman clearly mentioned that what happened in 1915 is nothing else but genocide and those who deny it are cowards. This was a clear signal to those, inclusing the Turkish authorities, who raised complaints after the Bundestag decision”, “Armenpress” reports Sharmazanov saying.

In the words of Sharmazanov, the Czech President has once again clearly mentioned that the world must recognize and condemn the Armenian Genocide and any crime committed against humanity. “All those are a very clear signal for Erdoğan and his political team”, Sharmazanov concluded.

President of the Czech Republic Miloš Zeman announced in Yerevan on June 8 that upon his return to his country he will call on the parliament to follow the Bundestag example and recognize the Armenian Genocide.
