YEREVAN, OCTOBER 8, ARMENPRESS. Newly appointed Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Armenia to Armenia, SeyyedKazemSajjadi, presented the copies of his credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia on October 8. As “Armenpress” was informed from the Department of Press, Information and Public Relations of MFA Armenia, congratulating the Ambassador on appointment, the Foreign Minister wished success to the Ambassador during his mission, hoping that SeyyedKazemSajjadi will foster the expansion of friendly relations between Armenia and Iran and deepening of mutually beneficial cooperation.
Ambassador SeyyedKazemSajjadi, expressing gratitude for the wishes, emphasized that the Iranian authorities attach great importance to strengthening partnership with friendly Armenia and ensured that he will do his best to develop Armenian-Iranian relations during his tenure.
Minister Nalbandian and Ambassador SeyyedKazemSajjadi exchanged ideas over partnership in the spheres of energy and infrastructure.
Edward Nalbandian particularly highlighted the nuclear deal with Iran as an important step aimed at regional stability and cooperation, adding that it will become an extra impetus for deepening trade relations.
