Art school after Yeghishe Tadevosyan was repaired

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 8, ARMENPRESS. The art school after Yeghishe Tadevosyan in Etchmiadzin city will be introduced by new appearance, with repaired and furnished classrooms. This is the mayor’s gift to the citizens. To the 2700th anniversary of Etchmiadzin, the building was reconstructed and repaired, and the property was changed.

In the interview with “Armenpress”, the school’s administrator Karine Garakyan told, that 215 pupils attend the school in the present, but it does not exclude, that after repairing the school will be able to receive 300 children.

“11 teachers work at school. They teach such subjects as art painting, arts and crafts and art history. During these years, the school had numerous achievements. Our pupils are participating and taking high positions in a lot of competitions”, Garakyan tod. Garakyan remembered that when the school was newly opened, it had only 25 pupils, but during several years the number of pupils became 10 times bigger.
