YEREVAN, JULY 1, ARMENPRESS: The minimum salary in the Republic of Armenia will be increased by 5,000 drams from July 1, making 55,000. Armenpress reports that the corresponding amendment was made to the law of the Republic of Armenia “On minimal monthly salary” in 2014.
By the decision of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, in 2015 385 billion drams or more than 29% of the total expenses of the state budget were allocated to the social sector from the state budget. Moreover, 41 billion drams were additionally allocated from the state budget to the social sector to increase the salaries.
