Sanctions against Russia are primary risk of foreign trade turnover reduction: Armenia’s Finance Minister

YEREVAN, 25 MAY, ARMENPRESS. Armenia's Government has concerns that the country's foreign trade turnover volumes decreasing trend may continue. The Minister of Finance of the Republic of Armenia Gagik Khachatryan stated this during the meeting with journalists at the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.

Asked whether the foreign trade turnover volumes decreasing trend may continue in the first quarter, Khachatryan answered: “It is conditioned by the fact that the sanctions against our partner Russia continue and they have a great role in this regard. One of the main risks is this factor. It also promotes the reduction of the transfers, so we cannot have no concerns”.
