Russia's State Duma to adopt statement on 100th anniversary of Armenian Genocide

YEREVAN, 22 APRIL, ARMENPRESS. On April 24, Russia’s State Duma can adopt a statement on the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. As “Armenpress” reports, citing RIA Novosti, the chairman of CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots Committee of State Duma Leonid Slutsky informed this to the reporters.

According to him, the CIS Affairs Committee prepares a draft document and intends to present it to the Chamber for the discussion. "On April 23, we will hold the committee meeting over the draft law and present it to the Council of Duma for approval. We propose to adopt the statement on April 24 during the session of State Duma," he clarified.
