YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 25, ARMENPRESS: The border tension in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict zone has eased. The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan connects it with several factors, including the increase in the level of preparedness of the armed forces of Armenia and the activities of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs.
“The Armenian side is carrying out active works to strengthen the borders. The monitoring system is being modernized so that the control over the situation on the border is more efficient”, - said Ohanyan in the talk with the journalists at Yerablur Pantheon, adding that the situation on the border is relatively quiet at the moment.
