CB didn’t sell dollars today

YEREVAN, 18 DECEMBER, ARMENPRESS. The Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia has declared the ninth auction of USD 4 million. As the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia reports to “ArmenPress”, Armenia’s trade banks haven’t presented a demand for the U.S. Dollar. On December 17, Armenia’s Central Bank sold USD 4 million at an average exchange rate of AMD 570.58 for USD 1, and the marginal rate was AMD 567.65 for USD 1. Compared to December 16, the average exchange rate increased by AMD 44.26.

On December 17, there was no sale at NASDAQ OMX Armenia, and at 1645, the average exchange rate dropped by 48.94% compared to the previous day, making up AMD 453.95. As for sale, the rate dropped by 33.83% and made up AMD 497.48.
