Lebanese Tourism Minister encourages citizens to visit Armenia

YEREVAN, 20 NOVEMBER, ARMENPRESS. Tourism Minister of Lebanon Michel Pharaon has called for more cooperation between Lebanese and Armenian tourism sectors because of the long-standing ties that exist between the two countries, as The Daily Star reports to “ArmenPress”.

“There is a need to reinforce the touristic relationship between the two countries because our people are friends, our states are friends and we are very close to each other,” Pharaon said. He noted the importance of the Armenian Diaspora in Lebanon which serves as an “integral part of the Lebanese population.

The Tourism Minister said he encourages citizens to visit Armenia and participate in rehabilitating its tourism sector.
