German Foreign Minister pays tribute to memory of Armenian genocide victims at Tsitsernakaberd

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 23, ARMENPRESS: Foreign Minister of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier paid tribute to the memory of the Armenian Genocide victims at Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex.

The German Minister was accompanied by Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan. Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum Institute Hayk Demoyan welcomed the ministers. Subsequently they laid flowers next to the Eternal Flame respecting the memory of the martyrs with one-minute silence.

As Armenpress reports, Hayk Demoyan gave to the German high-ranking official the book "Armenian Genocide: Front Page Coverage in the World Press" issued recently, as well as the entire list of the stamps dedicated to Johannes Lepsius.
