Turkish authorities’ policy of Genocide denial has expired itself: Armenia’s President

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 20, ARMENPRESS. The whole Armenian people will commemorate the 100th anniversary of Armenian Genocide next year, thus proving the unity and consistency of the Armenian people in realizing national desires, and will and decisiveness to live and create of the Armenian people, which were deprived of its homeland. As reports “Armenpress”, the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan stated this at the course of the 5th Armenia-Diaspora conference.

Among other things, the President noted that today common sense makes the Turkish society to doubt the official false historiography and thousands of Turkish people deny the official policy of Genocide denial of their own country. In addition, the President underscored: “Thus it becomes evident that the Turkish authorities’ policy of Genocide denial expires itself step by step and appears in a dead-end. Due to these developments, the Turkish officials started to adopt a new behavior, which introduces a renovated, more accomplished, and reformulated version of the policy of Armenian Genocide denial.”
