4 Grand Masters to introduce Armenia at Chess World Cup 2013
11:45, 18 May 2013YEREVAN, MAY 18, ARMENPRESS. 4 Chess Grand Masters will introduce Armenia at Chess World Cup 2013. Chess Federation of the Republic of Armenia informed "Armenpress" that Armenian GMs Sergei Movsesian and Hrant Melkumyan got rights to take part in the World Cup 2013 that will start on August 4, 2013 in Tromso, Norway. They reached that success by the results of the 14th European Individual Championship in Legnica, Poland.
Previously, GMs Levon Aronian and Vladimir Akopian were already eligible to participate in the World Cup.
Also Chess Federation of the Republic of Armenia stated that 19-year-old Armenian chess player Robert Aghasaryian fulfilled the Grandmaster norm in the 14th European Individual Championship, which was held in Legnica, Poland.
