Armenian Defense Minister holds meetings within Schuman Security and Defense Forum

YEREVAN, MAY 29, ARMENPRESS.Within the framework of the Schuman Security and Defense Forum, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Suren Papikyan on May 29 held meetings with the Deputy Secretary General for Peace, Security, and Defence of the EEAS, Charles Fries, the Chair of the Political and Security Committee of the Council of the European Union, Delphine Pronk, and the Managing Director for Russia, Eastern Partnership, Central Asia, Regional Cooperation, and the OSCE at the European External Action Service, Michael Siebert, the defense ministry said.

Issues related to Armenia-EU cooperation in defence field, as well as discussions on regional security, were addressed.

The Defence Minister presented the ongoing reforms within the Armenian Armed Forces.
