Azerbaijan uses cultural event in London for anti-Armenian propaganda: “Geghard”
scientific analytical foundation

YEREVAN, MARCH 16, ARMENPRESS. Azerbaijan used a cultural event held in London for the purpose of political, anti-Armenian propaganda, according to a statement by “Geghard” scientific analytical foundation.

“From March 12 to 14, the London Book Fair took place in the capital of the United Kingdom, with numerous countries participating and showcasing their publications. Azerbaijan was among the participants, presenting approximately 300 books.

“A large map bearing the inscription "Karabakh is Azerbaijan" was displayed in the pavilion. Adjacent to this main map there were others depicting Azerbaijan's territorial aspirations towards the Republic of Armenia. Among the showcased books, some served as examples of disseminating anti-Armenian propaganda and hatred. Notably, a book titled "Armenian Terrorism" was presented at the exhibition.

“These instances demonstrate that Azerbaijan used the cultural event as a platform for political and anti-Armenian propaganda. It is worth noting that the official website of the London Book Fair mentions that it is a platform where the global publishing community unites to develop relationships, gain insights, and define the future of creative content.

“It is indeed surprising and deeply concerning that the organizers of a cultural event would tolerate the display of such content, especially when it promotes racism, ethnic hatred, and attributes terrorism to a specific ethnicity. Such manifestations have no place in any cultural or public forum,” the statement reads.
