On April 17, Ruben Rubinyan, the Deputy President of the National Assembly, the special representative of Armenia in the process of normalization of Armenia-Turkey relations, met with the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Erika Olson, ARMENPRESS was informed from the parliament of Armenia.

At the request of the guest, Ruben Rubinyan presented the details of the process of normalization of relations between Armenia and Turkey. Erika Olson said that the US supports the process.

The parties emphasized the importance of the quick implementation of the agreement on the opening of the land border for citizens of third countries and diplomatic passport holders this summer.

The Deputy President of the National Assembly presented the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh.

The parties also discussed issues related to regional security and stability.
