Turkey-Syria earthquakes leaves 5200 dead: updated

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 7, ARMENPRESS. The number of victims of the February 6 earthquakes in Turkey and Syria has reached 5,261, and there are thousands of injured. Thousands of buildings collapsed in both countries. Humanitarian organizations are particularly concerned about the people of northwestern Syria, where 4 million people were already living in hope of humanitarian aid, ARMENPRESS reports, referring to CNN.

According to the latest data, the number of victims of the 7.8-magnitude earthquake that hit Turkey on the night of February 6 has reached 3549, and the number of injured has reached 22,168. The number of victims in Syria has reached 1,712, and the number of wounded has reached 3,649.
