Defense Ministry denies media reports claiming mountain fire was on Azeri military’s side

YEREVAN, JANUARY 7, ARMENPRESS. The Armenian Ministry of Defense is denying media reports which claimed that the fire on a mountain near Verishen village was on the side of the Azeri military.

“The media reports claiming that the fire on the mountain near Verishen village is from the side of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces do not correspond to reality. According to a statement by the Ministry of Emergency Situation, the fire ended by itself at 22:33,” the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
