YEREVAN, DECEMBER 26, ARMENPRESS. Challenges, threats to security and disputes are growing in the CIS territory, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during the informal summit of the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) in Saint Petersburg, which is also attended by Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan.
“The key direction of cooperation of CIS countries is the maintenance of security and stability in our common Eurasian region. Unfortunately, the challenges and threats in this sector, first of all from the outside, are only growing every year. It must also be regrettably accepted that disputes have emerged also between participating states of the Commonwealth. But what’s important is that we are ready and we will cooperate,” Putin said.
