China hopes for a quick resolution of the situation around the Lachin Corridor

ARMENPRESS reports the representative of China at the UN said at the UN Security Council's discussion on the situation around the Lachin Corridor. "We believe that disputes over Lachin Corridor should be resolved through dialogue. Russia has done a lot of work in this direction, which China welcomes. We hope that with the mediation of Russia and other concerned parties, the dispute between Armenia and Azerbaijan over the Lachin Corridor will be resolved as soon as possible. Armenia and Azerbaijan are neighbors, and achieving joint security and cooperation corresponds to their interests," he said. He added that China encourages Armenia and Azerbaijan to resolve disputes between them through the mediation of Russia and other parties based on international law regulating relations. "Any effort that contributes to this will play a constructive role," the Chinese representative concluded.
