BREAKING: Lachin Corridor could be opened today, says State Minister of Nagorno Karabakh
09:51, 16 December 2022STEPANAKERT, DECEMBER 16, ARMENPRESS. It is possible that Azerbaijan will open the Lachin Corridor on December 16, State Minister of Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh) Ruben Vardanyan said.
“I want to say that the road could be opened today as well,” Vardanyan said after announcing that Azerbaijan restored gas supply. “They made this decision because they felt what kind of a mistake they'd made, because they were under much pressure both internally and externally. I want to thank those who supported us in various countries,” Vardanyan said.
Azerbaijan is keeping the Lachin Corridor closed since December 12. The Lachin Corridor is the only road linking Artsakh with Armenia and the rest of the world.
