Armenian, Russian, Azerbaijani deputy PMs discuss railway construction during Moscow meeting

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 7, ARMENPRESS. Armenia-Russia-Azerbaijan trilateral working group co-chaired by Deputy Prime Ministers Mher Grigoryan, Alexei Overchuk and Shahin Mustafayev, held its 11th meeting in Moscow on December 6, the Office of the Armenian Deputy PM said.

The sides highlighted the positive role of Russia in the settlement of the relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as in the making of efforts for the unblocking of economic and transportation links between the two countries.

During the session issues relating to the construction of a railway between Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia and in the region, the development of railway communication and organization of transportation were discussed.

The sides will continue working towards the implementation of trilateral statements of the leaders of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan regarding the unblocking of transportation and economic ties in the region.

The Armenian and Azerbaijani sides expressed their gratitude to the Russian side for organizing and hosting the meeting at a high level.
