Armenia’s Security Council Secretary presents consequences of Azerbaijani aggression at 
meeting in Carnegie Foundation

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 27, ARMENPRESS. During his working visit in Washington D.C., Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan met with present and former American officials, ambassadors, members of the Carnegie Foundation and other research centers, the Office of the Security Council said.

During the meeting Armen Grigoryan presented the Azerbaijani large-scale aggression against Armenia’s sovereign territory, as well as its consequences, emphasizing that with such step Baku has infiltrated into Armenia’s sovereign territory and threatens the Armenian democracy. He highlighted the determination of Yerevan in moving on the path of democracy.

The Secretary of the Security Council also touched upon the gross violations of international humanitarian law and the targeting of civilian population and infrastructure by Azerbaijan.

The meeting also covered a broad range of issues of bilateral interest relating to the Armenian-American partnership, such as democracy and economic cooperation.
